Travel Morocco Today! I am so happy you’re here since I love Morocco with my whole heart and want you to love it too.
My very Moroccan journey began in January of 2023. I immediately fell in love with the country and Marrakech but had no plans of staying. Then I met a boy. He was my Moroccan prince and worked at a riad in Essaouira.
I didn’t think much of it at the time. Sure, I liked him but I wanted to solo travel Morocco and didn’t want to sit around waiting for him.
So, I left and traveled all across the country. I went on a Sahara tour, explored Fes, enjoyed Chefcheoun, made my way up to Tangier, relaxed in Rabat, and finally ended up in Casablanca.
I had a few weeks left before I left Morocco and was still texting that really nice Moroccan guy I met in Essaouira.
So, I went back. We fell in love and he soon became my partner. I then moved to Essaouira and we started to travel through Morocco together.
That’s why this Morocco travel blog is different. I live in Morocco and my partner is a Moroccan man. I have a unique perspective on the country and want to share all of my local tips with you so that you can explore Morocco like a local, not a tourist.
It is an absolutely stunning country that is filled with a diverse array of beautiful things. But, sometimes people get scared and nervous about traveling to an Islamic country where the culture is very different from their own.
But, not to worry. I too felt nervous. However, once I got here, everything changed. I felt relaxed and embraced the beauty and generosity of the Moroccan people.
